Right at Home is not just a franchise company. First and foremost, we are a home care company.
Our mission is to improve the quality of life for those we serve. In this industry, that's impossible without extensive experience in healthcare, but not necessarily for franchisees. Very few of our franchisees have healthcare experience. They don't need it – because it's what Right at Home's management team provides.
Right at Home's team brings decades of healthcare experience to our clients and our franchisees.
Ken Deary, Managing Director, Right at Home UK
Ken has a wealth of experience in Franchising, the Care sector and Business. Ken is an Economics graduate from the University of Leeds and a qualified Accountant. During his successful business career Ken has gained a wealth of experience in Finance, Insurance, Property and the Care sector.
Ken was a very successful McDonald’s Franchisee from 1994 to 2005 and during that time he won both McDonald’s Golden Arches award for outstanding International Franchisees and the ultimate British Franchisee award – The British Franchise Association Franchisee of the Year 2002.
Ken has run a successful Care Home since 2006 and took the opportunity to link his care, franchising and business experience together through his involvement with Right at Home in the UK in May 2009.
Gail Wright, Operations Manager
Gail has built up a wealth of experience by developing her career in a variety of care settings over the last decade. This includes working with older people, adults and children, with physical disabilities, learning disabilities and mental health issues, in both residential and domiciliary care settings. Underpinning her valuable experience, Gail has completed her Bachelor’s degree at the University of Central Lancashire, has completed NVQ4 – Leadership and Management in Care Services and is currently studying NVQ5 in Management.
Mike Gatti, Franchise Consultant
Following a long and distinguished career with IBM, Mike has been involved in the Franchise arena for nearly ten years, offering Consultancy on recruitment, systems and processes specifically tailored for individual franchisors.
He has helped many top quality franchisors develop their franchise networks with highly qualified and successful franchisees!
Helen Thompson, Senior Recruitment Consultant
Helen enjoyed a highly successful career as one of the highest achieving Branch Managers for one of the largest Nationwide chain of Estate Agents.
After taking a career break to bring up her family, Helen decided that she wished to pursue a career where she could combine her obvious talents for management and personal service with her desire to help individuals achieve their own goals and ambitions.
A role as a Franchise Recruitment Consultant was a logical choice and Helen has excelled in this position for the last four years, helping many first class franchisors meet their recruitment goals.

Allen Hager, President
Allen's story is Right at Home's story.
Allen founded Right at Home in Omaha in 1995 after spending nearly a decade in hospital administration in both West Virginia and Nebraska. He's a graduate of Marshall University, Tulane University's MBA programme and the Executive Development Programme of the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
After founding Right at Home, Allen helped found the National Private Duty Association (NPDA) and currently serves as its Legislative Chair.
Blake Martin, Vice President of International Operations, Right at Home International
Blake has been with Right at Home since 2004 and is responsible for the development and support of Right at Home’s international Master Franchisees. Previously, Blake was in charge of developing system-wide tools, programmes, services, and alliances for Right at Home. Blake's years of experience in the home care industry started with branch management for the Visiting Nurse Association. From 1996 to 2004, he served as the Director of Operations and Director of Franchise Development for ComForcare Senior Services- an international home care franchise company.
My family and I were really pleased with Right at Home's efforts. They provided first class service, and provided a carer who really knew what she was doing. It is not necessarily easy to transport a person who is not feeling well, and Right at Home did a great job in providing this service. Our experience with Right at Home was just perfect.
