Registered Manager

Hi, i'm Gemma,  the Registered Manager here at Right at Home Calderdale.

I have worked as a Registered Manager for several years and love my job! I believe that a care package should be bespoke to an individual and that the care we deliver is of the highest standard, enabling our clients to live as independently as possible in their own homes, for as long as possible.

Seeing the difference our CareGivers make to clients lives is very rewarding and helps push myself and the team to make a difference to more people in the local communities.

I am passionate about developing our CareGivers and all of them, whether that be around training or career development or being the best CareGiver possible. Seeing my team succeed and deliver quality care to our clients, is why I do my job!

Outside of work, I am a wife and mum to four teenagers (ones 9 but…), which keeps me on my toes. I am also a crazy cat lady, and my three cats can get away with anything!

I’m told I am slightly bonkers…. But in a good way (I hope)
