Franchise Opportunities in the UK

In October 2009 Ken Deary became Right at Home’s first International Master Franchise holder operating the Right at Home brand in the United Kingdom including the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands.

Ken Deary opened Right at Home’s first UK office in Preston, Lancashire in January 2010 and will begin recruiting franchisees in the UK from September 2010.

Ken was a very successful McDonald’s Franchisee between 1994 and 2005, winning numerous awards including “The Golden Arches Award” the ultimate worldwide accolade for McDonald’s Franchisees. He is also a past BFA (British Franchise Association) Franchisee of the Year. The BFA Franchisee of the Year is the highest honour and award for a British Franchisee and speaks volumes for Ken’s understanding of what makes a Franchisee successful.

Having seen life from both sides of franchising, Ken knows exactly what Franchisees and small business owners require from their Franchisor. In addition, Ken already owns a Care Home in the UK and his first hand experience of the care needed for his Mother and Mother-In Law in their latter years means he understands and has a compassion for the Care sector.

“I have seen at first hand the current system of care for seniors in their own home and it is clear that in many instances the type of service offered is very limited both in terms of time and the limited type of service offered.
