Scott MacRae, owner of Right at Home Maidenhead, which cares for older adults in their own homes, said, "When we step into our later life, age transforms from a barrier to a gateway. The Later Living Event celebrates resilience and the pursuit of fulfilment, inspiring a vibrant life well beyond retirement. It perfectly aligns with our mission. It’s about allowing a person to maintain their independence and quality of life for longer in their own home.”

The aim of the Later Living Event is to provide a platform for older individuals to connect with a range of services that will enable them to live independently and safely at home for as long as possible.

Caroline Romero, owner of Grey Matters Consultancy said, "Navigating life after retirement can be quite a challenge, especially if you don't have family close by to lean on or if you're not that tech-savvy. That's where the Later Living Event comes in. It's all about introducing you to businesses and organisations that can help you make the most out of life, no matter your age.”

Visitors at the fair will be able to interact directly with experts offering help with pensions and investments, holidays, mobility and flexibility, homecare, benefits assistance, property services, IT in the home, transport, and physiotherapy, to name a few.

Local exhibitors include Absolute Mobility, Utility Warehouse, Right at Home, Grey Matters Consultancy, McCarthy Stone, Travel Counsellors, Blaser Mills Solicitors, Wiltshire Farm Foods, Loftbox, Body Manoeuvres, and Less Annoying IT.

Free refreshments will also be available.
